The Practice
We opened at 409 Eaton Road in October 2007 to be able to provide the facilities that a modern dental practice should offer. This includes having four state of the art computerised surgeries, a central sterilization room, with washer-disinfectors, autoclaves and sterile packaging far all instruments, a consultation room and a dedicated panoramic x-ray room along with digital x-rays and intra oral cameras in all surgeries.
There is a large modern reception and patient lounge area along with car parking to the front and rear of the building. Disabled access is available to all ground floor facilities. Excellent customer service has the highest priority in our practice. |

We were very proud to be nominated and shortlisted as a finalist in the category of ‘BEST NEW PRACTICE’ in the private dentistry awards of November 2008.
The practice dental philosophy is to provide for high quality preventive and minimally invasive dentistry using the skills of the hygienist on the preventive/hygiene side and minimal drilling on the dentist side.
The principles of minimum intervention are very simple; to diagnose any potential caries risk factors early, to help prevent caries occurring by eliminating or minimising these risk factors, and if surgical repair is required, the maximum tooth structure is conserved, whilst bioactive materials are used to restore the tooth and protect against further damage. In contrast, “the surgical” approach of “drilling and filling” only treats the symptoms of the disease, not the cause, and there is little or no emphasis on prevention. We are a preventive dental practice. |
